CURRENT:

Mercer Island School District – Program / Project / Construction oversite for the districts $102 million 2014 bond package.  Work includes an addition at Mercer Island High School, replacement of a portion of Islander Middle School, and the construction of the district's 4th elementary school Northwood Elementary.

 

PAST:

City of Mercer Island – Project / Construction Manager for the construction phase of the City’s new $8 million Community Center Project.

Tacoma School District – Project / Construction oversite for the new $74 million Mt. Tahoma High School and the $16 million addition at Wilson High School.  Construction phase services for Grey Middle School.

City of Federal Way &  Muckleshoot Indian Tribe -- Provided expertise and assistance in the selection of a Project / Construction oversite for construction projects.

Mercer Island School District – 11 years on contract as the Capital Projects Manager for the district.  Work included SEPA mitigation with developers, creation and bi-annual update of the Capital Replacement Plan, portable classroom placement, liaison with the City, a joint project with the Boys & Girls Club, and many small projects.  In addition, Project / Construction oversite for $37 million modernization program including the high school, alternative high school, new maintenance building, and later, the $2.5 million addition to Islander Middle School.

Seattle Public Schools Closeout activities on 7 schools from the BEX III Levy, summer relocation of the Accelerated Progress Program (APP), a 500-student school into a new home.

Quileute Tribal School Project / Construction oversite for a new $4.5 million gym and cultural facility.  Project was funded through the BIA and built on Tribal grounds via the design-build process. 

The Overlake School Project / Construction oversite for a $16 million construction program that included new performing and visual arts buildings, a new gym, a new synthetic in-fill sports field, a new tennis facility, and many small projects.  Work included extensive permitting with King County including wetlands, SEPA, CUP, traffic concurrency, building, and grading. 

Riverview School District – Project / Construction oversite for $5.2 million bond issue.  Projects included 2 building re-roofs, upgrades to the Performing Arts Center, a new track & field facility for the high school and a small modernization of the middle school.

Snoqualmie Valley School District – Project manager for a $30 million modernization program including a middle school, 3 elementary schools and a separately funded alternative high school. 

Tahoma School District – Remedial permitting with King County for 8 portable classroom buildings placed and occupied without building, health, or utility permits.

Private Clients – Site feasibility studies and permit expediting including a high-profile hangar addition at Boeing Field. 

Bellevue School District – Provided expertise and assistance to the Capital Project’s Office with School Board tours and education relating to new vs. modernized construction for their elementary schools.
