Mary Brandon (Brandy) Fox
As a project manager/owner’s representative, Brandy brings a truly unique perspective and background to projects. She has over 30 years of experience in the architecture/engineering/construction community and has served as a representative of the project owner and as a representative for the design team. She understands how to execute the complexities involved in public and private construction projects and where the potential for challenges exists. She has been involved in more than 150 projects and brings a tremendous depth of experience and perspective, particularly in budgeting, scheduling, permitting, staff involvement in the design process, and creative, successful execution of the work.

Liz Katz

Liz Katz, RA
As an architect with over 15 years of PK-12 experience, Liz brings insightful knowledge of the educational design process. With a strong focus on the end-user experience, Liz excels at developing a deep understanding of community needs and translating them into functional environments. Her extensive experience as a project architect translates into her work as an owner’s representative, as she enjoys working closely with the project communities, alongside fellow designers and consultants. As an active member of A4LE for many years, Liz served on the board of directors from 2019-2022 and received her ALEP (Accredited Learning Environment Planner) in 2021.

Edward Peters, ALEP, LE Fellow

Edward Peters, ALEP, LE Fellow
Edward Peters is an accredited educational facilities planner (ALEP) who served as Capital Projects Director for the Edmonds School District for more than 20 years and held a similar position with the Mount Vernon District. In those positions he oversaw all phases of numerous new construction and facilities upgrade projects totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. His projects have received wide-spread recognition, and other school districts often tour them. He chaired the Seattle Public Schools citizen’s construction oversight committee for 10 years. He has written and presented extensively on using physical facilities to support best learning practices. He also chaired the Washington State Project Review Committee (PRC) He is a past member of the international Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP) Commission, which is responsible for granting that credential. The Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) has given him their highest individual honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and also designated him a Learning Environment Fellow.

Walter Schacht, FAIA
Walter Schacht, FAIA, has forty years of experience in the design and management of projects for education, gathering, and culture. He is a team player who has helped advance alternative project delivery methods, including design-build and GC/CM, as a practitioner, advocate, and educator. Walter was elevated to AIA’s College of Fellows in 2013 and bestowed with AIA Seattle’s Gold Medal for lifetime achievement in 2020. Walter works with CPM as a design-build advisor.
